These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TailoredTaste ("we," "our," "the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use TailoredTaste. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.
You're responsible for the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
TailoredTaste uses AI (Google's Gemini) to analyze menu photos and suggest dishes based on your taste history. This is a personalization feature, not a food-safety, dietary, or medical service:
You are solely responsible for verifying that any food you order is safe for you to eat.
You retain ownership of the photos, notes, and other content you add to the app. By adding it, you grant us a license to store, process, and display it back to you as part of providing the app's functionality (e.g., showing your logged meals and photos to you, sending menu photos to our AI provider to generate your recommendations). We don't use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties — see our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.
Don't upload content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to share.
Don't misuse the app — this includes attempting to disrupt the service, access other users' accounts or data, reverse-engineer the app beyond what's legally permitted, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The app currently includes a limited number of free menu scans per month. We may change these limits, or introduce paid subscription tiers with additional features or usage, at any time. If paid subscriptions are introduced, separate pricing and billing terms (including how to cancel) will be presented to you before you're charged, consistent with the App Store's or Google Play's applicable policies.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the app.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will be accurate or suited to your needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TailoredTaste and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to any adverse reaction to food ordered based on an app recommendation or logged meal. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
